I am trying to switch employer. The job title and job description is similar what written in my I140. At least 75% job duties are included in new job duties. But none of new employers where I found employment ready to write job duties. What is the other way to show that I am doing similar job duties. Should I keep scree shot of JOB add? Any idea.
Also my current EAD will expire in Aug,2011 I have to file extension in April. Employer asks if extension is denied... How to explain new employers.
If job title is exactly same as written in I140/labour does it still require to show job duties written by employer to USICS.

USCIS will consolidate FPs for 485 and EADs. So if we don't receive biometrics for 485, hopefully we will get one for EAD renewal which will also serve the purpose for 485 processing.
Note: This only applies to concurrent filers of 485 and EAD.

Removal of country limits temporarily and permanently, will both require the support of the majority of both houses of the congress. It will require as much effort to to remove country limits temporarily as it will require to remove country limits permanently.
Some folks here just wants to remove country limits till the time they get their agree card i.e. for the span of 2 years. If removal of country limits is good for EB community and America, then why only remove it for 2 years ONLY.
Such a campaign is likely to divide this community. PLEASE DO NOT divide the community by supporting this mis-directed agenda.
If country caps can be removed temporarily then they can be removed permanently. But asking for less than what key lawmakers have already proposed less than 6 months back is like shooting ourselves in the foot. PLEASE DO NOT throw others under the bus. PLEASE!!!!

I have convinced a few people at work to do this. Their point is, if we really want to do this, let's do it in a way that works. After receiving a few deliveries, USCIS will get the idea and direct it's lobby security to refuse all further flower deliveries. What's our plan for that situation?
How did the people who delivered nuts to CBS make it happen? The delivery was actually done via UPS. It's difficult to refuse a UPS packet in the security lobby! Should we send chocolates via UPS instead? It will be much more difficult to refuse deliveries of chocolates.
Does it matter if the flowers make it inside the building? What matters is that the media knows about us sending those flowers! The florists will tell them how many flowers they delivered! Besides, if we have a 100 people sending flowers they would have a tough time refusing all of them!

Santosh_gc, I don't have a problem when you talk about illegals getting ahead of legals etc. But the comment about illegal immigrants bringing corruption into the U.S. was way out of line. It is unfair that illegal immigrants may get ahead of legal immigrants. Let us leave it at that and not speculate on how they might introduce corruption into society. No discussions on how they break the law when they enter the country - that is a bogus argument. Just about every one of us breaks the law every time he/she gets behind the wheel of a car, unless you claim you always drive the speed limit. By your logic, then every immigrant from India can be disallowed as we are exposed to as much corruption in India as there is in Mexico and we might infect the U.S. culture just as much. Bkam's comments didn't add any value to the discussion and were just offensive.
I am sorry stucklabour but a traffic/speeding violation is a misdemeanour and not breaking the law. Being in this country illegally is actually breaking the law. Now i am not going to get suckered into a whole legals v/s illegals debate, but at some level i do feel that undocumented workers HAVE broken the law. Besides the argument that "everyone does it" really doesnt cut it. 10 wrongs do not make 1 right. If you look at the punishment for the 2 things a speeding violation leads to a simple fine, a violation of Visa leads to deportation.
Now i personally dont care, whether the US Govt asks the undocumented to stay or leave. What i DO care about is, how we, the legals are treated. So whether the illegals are mexican, indian, chinese, cambodian or actual aliens from Mars, the policy should be: "If you come the right way, you will make it in, if you come the wrong way, you will either NOT make it in at all, OR will have to wait much longer than the people who came in the right way". So poeple pls stop the "racist" remarks against Just the Mexican community and culture. On the other hand the moderators too have to understand that everyone here does have a right to express SOME opinions regarding the undocumented/illegal immigrants. You are in the EB3 category, do you ever wonder why somebody who is more educated than you or me, makes more money? Can we say, hey you I was born in 1890 I should make more money, it does not fly, EB3 is not a reflection on your skills but more the job you hold.
The question you should ask is why have EB1, 2, 3, etc?
Why do you not include the family based categories, isn't family first, why not the EB spill over to to FB first then whatever trickles down comes to EB, is not this fair? I am sure there are a lot in the FB queue who have waited for longer than you. Now dont tell you you are better than FB because you are highly skilled, pay taxes, etc.

Perhaps 10% may still rot in NC further.
EB3-India with PD JAN 2004 - DEC 2004 - Most will be out by August 2009
Perhaps 20% may still rot in NC
